This FAQ will continue to be updated as we get closer to the event. Please continue to check back, especially as you get ready to travel!

Traveling to Terranea Resort
If you requested a room during registration, we have booked you a room at Terranea Resort through our room block for the dates that you selected. You will have the option to add additional days to your reservation outside the conference dates when you register, if you would like to extend your stay (subject to availability). If your desired dates are not showing, please email events@onemedical.com.

You must present an ID and credit card upon check-in to pay for your stay and hotel incidental charges. All attendees will receive a single room, unless you indicated otherwise in your registration notes.

Hotel confirmation information will be emailed by October 31.

Hotel check-in is available at 4 PM on the day you arrive. If you arrive early and your room is not ready for check-in, you're more than welcome to drop-off your luggage at the hotel and enjoy the resort.

On Sunday, our agenda ends at 11:15AM. Hotel check-out is by 11AM. We recommend checking-out before breakfast and storing your luggage at the front desk.

How do I get to the hotel?
The resort is 20 miles from both Los Angeles International Airport and Long Beach Airport, about a 30 minute drive. We suggest sharing an Uber or other rideshare with other attendees.

If you are local to the Los Angeles area, we're thrilled to bring this event to you! Valet parking is available at the hotel for $40 per day.

Should I still attend the event if I am not feeling well?
As you prepare to join us, please review the following to ensure we're all doing our parts to protect ourselves and all attendees:

  • If you are feeling unwell please do not attend the event, regardless of diagnostic testing results.
  • If you have recently been sick, please attend only if you're feeling better and have been fever-free for at least 24 hours.

Where do I pick up my name badge?
We will have a Welcome Hub where you can register and receive your name badge and event swag. You will need to show an ID. More information on the location and hours of the Welcome Hub will be published as the event gets closer.

When can I sign up for sessions or learn more about the agenda?
We are working hard to finalize this year's agenda! We will notify registered attendees when the agenda is published and the app is available to download. You will be able to sign up for individual sessions through the app.

What is the plan for the day of arrival (Friday)?
We will offer pre-conference education sessions on Friday that you will be able to register for in advance, as well as a welcome reception in the evening. We'll send out more details as the event gets closer. During the reception you will have the opportunity to connect with other attendees. Come hungry and have fun!

Is there a dress code at the event?
There is not a set dress code, so feel free to keep it fairly casual throughout the day. Keep in mind that while the average daytime temperature in Rancho Palos Verdes is 71° F in November, we will be spending time indoors with air conditioning. It's safe to pack layers!

Will we have WiFi connection during the event?
Yes, we will share how to connect to WiFi during the event.

What should I bring to the event?
There isn't much required beyond yourself, an openness to learning new things, and a desire to connect with your colleagues and peers! Of course, if you want to take advantage of any of the resort amenities or activities like the pool, hiking trails, or golf course, please pack accordingly.

We'll have a better sense of the weather closer to the event, which should help determine packing needs. The average temperature in Rancho Palos Verdes is 71° F during the day and 51° F at night, and it can be breezy.

Can I post pictures on social media?
Be thoughtful about what you share on social media while at the event in accordance with your company's social media policy. If you would like to share your favorite moments and takeaways with One Medical, please tag Amazon One Medical on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, or use the hashtag #REALPrimaryCare!

Please note One Medical will also be taking photos and videos at the event.

May I bring my family and/or significant other?
While any activities and meetings during REAL Primary Care are limited to attendees only, after you receive your hotel confirmation email, you have the option to contact the hotel directly to add an occupant to your room. Additional rates may apply.

What should I do if I have any safety concerns?
If you find yourself needing support at any time during the event, the One Medical team is available to support. We will share more details closer to the conference.

Who should I contact with questions about or suggestions for the event?
Please don't hesitate to reach out to our Events team (events@onemedical.com) with any questions or suggestions and we'll make sure the questions are addressed.

What is included in the REAL Primary Care conference?
Your event registration includes:

  • Pre-conference education sessions on Friday
  • Evening reception on Friday
  • Breakfast and lunch on Saturday
  • Breakfast on Sunday
  • Education sessions on Saturday and Sunday
  • Access to CME reporting tool. One Medical partners with Learner+ to offer reflective learning opportunities that reward CME/CE credits from inspirations at this conference. More information on how to earn CME/CE credits will be shared as we get closer to the event.

Can I access the materials shared during the conference?
Yes! You will be able to access any materials that have been shared (including content for sessions you did not attend) and the link to Leaners+ to claim your CME/ CE credits through the app for six months following the conference.

For One Medical team members, we also plan to upload these materials to OneSource.

What if I need to cancel my registration?
Amazon One Medical will use the credit card information you provide during registration to hold your room block. Events (events@onemedical.com) must receive a request of cancellation no later than Friday, October 10, 2025. Requests for full cancellations received by Friday, October 10, 2025 will be refunded, less a $100 administrative fee. Cancellations or no-shows after this date are not eligible for a refund and your credit card will be processed by Terranea Resort and will be charged in full.
